The setup page doesn’t appear

  1. Check that your phone is connected to LinesideInk-Setup, rather than your usual home Wi-Fi.
  2. If your phone warns that there is no internet, choose to stay connected.
  3. Enter http://192.168.4.1 directly in the browser’s address bar. This address is for the setup hotspot.
  4. If the phone keeps switching networks, temporarily turn off mobile data and retry. Turn it back on afterwards.

Use a 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi network. Check the network name and password carefully, including capital letters.

I can’t open the device settings

  1. Press KEY2 on the device and keep its Settings screen open. Battery saving and Fast updates modes turn Wi-Fi off between updates.
  2. Make sure your phone and device are on the same home network. After setup, your phone must leave LinesideInk-Setup and rejoin home Wi-Fi.
  3. Scan the QR code or open http://linesideink.local/. If that fails, use the IP address currently shown on the screen. It can change when your router reconnects.
  4. A guest network may prevent devices from talking to each other. Try your main home network. Temporarily disconnect a phone VPN if it prevents access to local devices.

If the page asks for a code, use the six-digit code shown by KEY2. Reopen Settings if the session has expired.

Change your router or Wi-Fi password

If you can still open settings, go to Wi-Fi → Change Wi-Fi connection. This starts the setup hotspot and disconnects the current browser controls. Follow the device screen, join LinesideInk-Setup, then enter the new network details.

Save network adds a remembered network but does not switch the current connection or verify that the new password works.

If the old network is unavailable, follow any setup instructions on the display. If you can’t reach setup or settings, contact support with the message on screen.

Start Wi-Fi setup again

On the Wi-Fi page, Forget all networks… clears saved Wi-Fi details and restarts setup. Your stations, profiles and other device preferences remain.

This is different from Factory reset, which also removes customer settings. See the reset guide before choosing either option.
