  • Next Train

    See the next train approaching the place you follow, ready for your next glance.

  • Next Three

    See the next three approaching trains together, with their estimated arrival times.

  • Just Seen

    Wondering what that was? Look back at the train that most recently passed.

  • Stats

    Explore the activity at your chosen location between trains.

A train counts as approaching when it is expected within 60 minutes. When no train is approaching within the next hour, the display shows railway activity statistics for your selected location.

Locations

Your local station, a familiar junction, somewhere you used to know. Choose from around 4,000 supported railway locations and save up to 100 favourites. Set them up after your display arrives, and change them whenever you like.

The enclosure is 3D-printed with a satin finish. Each display is assembled and tested in Hertfordshire. The terms of sale set out the construction detail.

Setup and ongoing service

Connect to the display’s Wi-Fi using your phone or computer, then open the browser setup to enter your home Wi-Fi details and choose your locations. After setup, Lineside Ink updates on its own. A low-battery message lets you know when it needs charging.

If Wi-Fi or live railway data is temporarily unavailable, Lineside Ink displays a status message and reconnects automatically.
