2. The product

One Lineside Ink unit: an e-paper display that shows passenger and freight train movements approaching a location you select on Great Britain’s mainline railway, in one of your choice of green, charcoal or dark blue. Full specification and display modes are described on the product page.

The enclosure is 3D-printed, so minor natural variation in finish between units is normal and is not a fault.

3. Price and payment

The price is £149 including VAT and delivery to the UK and Isle of Man, charged in full at the point of order. There is no deposit, reservation fee or later balance payment. The contract is formed when we receive verified confirmation of payment from Revolut — not when your browser returns to this site.

Payment is processed by Revolut on their hosted checkout page. We do not receive or store your card details.

4. Availability

A limited number of hand-assembled units are offered in this batch. A unit is held for you for 30 minutes while you complete payment; if payment is not completed in that time the unit returns to the allocation. When the allocation is sold, orders close. If a stock error means an order is accepted for a unit that is not actually available, we will contact you and offer a full refund.

5. Dispatch and delivery

Normally dispatched within 1–2 working days, using a tracked Royal Mail service. Delivery is included to England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands and the Isle of Man; we do not currently deliver to the Channel Islands. See delivery.

6. Cancellation, returns and faults

You can cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund. After delivery you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if a unit is faulty.

7. The live-data service

At least four years of live railway data from your order date. No subscription required.

Lineside Ink depends on publicly available Great Britain rail running data and on your own internet connection. That data is occasionally delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, particularly during disruption and engineering work, and its availability is outside our control. The product is sold on the basis that it displays that data as received, not that the data is correct.

8. Requirements

A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with internet access, and a browser on a phone or computer for setup.

9. Acceptable use and liability

Lineside Ink is sold for domestic, personal use. Except where the law prevents us from limiting or excluding it, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Independence

Lineside Ink is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Network Rail, National Rail or any train operating company.

11. Data protection and marketing

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy notice, and how cookies are used in our cookies notice. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in separately at checkout, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

12. Complaints and governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
